Arrival

Thanks to its easy access from Quito or Baños, by private car or public services, you can reach our lodge within a reasonable time without taking an airplane.

From the nearest city Tena you will reach our little Puerto Barantilla mainly on paved roads, where we will be waiting for you to take you by canoe on the Arajuno river to our lodge.

With our canoe we await your arrival on the river shore at Puerto Barantilla at the previously agreed time, usually in the early afternoon. From there we take you downstream in wide and safe motor canoes until we reach our lodge after approx. 10 minutes.

How to get from Baños to Tena by bus:

  We recommend taking the bus which leaves the Terminal de Buses at 8:00hrs.

  It will arrive at the bus station in Tena at 12:00 hrs. This is your final stop, avoid getting off the busearlier.

How to get from Quito to Tena by bus:

  We recommend taking the bus at 7:00 hrs from the Terminal Quitumbe in Quito.

  You will arrive at the bus station (Terminal) in Tena between12:00 and 13:00hrs. This is your final stop, avoid getting off the bus earlier.

We recommend to take the bus leaving Tena at 14:30 hrs. The bus leaves for Puerto Rio Barantilla/ VIA CHONTA PUNTA
