Ceibo (½ Day) Enjoy a 1½-hour hike through the tropical rainforest. Along the way, you will see the Ceibo, one of the largest trees in the Amazon, with its impressive buttress roots. You can also choose to visit the AmaZOOnico animal rescue center.
Mirador (½ Day) Take a 2½-hour hike through the rainforest to a beautiful viewpoint with a stunning view over Anaconda Island, the village of Ahuano, and the Napo River. Afterwards, walk to AmaZOOnico (optional visit) and return to Liana Lodge by canoe or tubing.
Río Rodríguez (1 Day) This full-day tour includes a 5-hour hike through the rainforest. Enjoy lunch served in leaves by the crystal-clear Río Rodríguez, where you can take a refreshing swim
Anaconda Island (½ Day) A canoe ride takes you to Anaconda Island, where you will walk through plantations of bananas, yucca, coffee, cocoa, papaya, and more. A Kichwa family will welcome you into their home and show you how to prepare Chicha, a traditional fermented drink. You can also try using a blowgun. On the way you pass the Caiman Laguna.
Fishing and Gold (½ Day) Your guide will show you the traditional Kichwa way of gold washing and using traditional fishing nets.
AmaZOOnico (½ Day) Visit the AmaZOOnico animal rescue center, located a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute canoe ride from Liana Lodge. The guided tour of AmaZOOnico lasts approximately 1 hour. This visit can be combined with the Ceibo, Mirador, or Río Rodríguez tours.
Tubing (1 Hour) After traveling upstream on the Arajuno River by canoe to Puerto Barantilla, float back down to Liana Lodge in a tube. This activity is great fun and can also be combined with other tours for your return to Liana Lodge.
Balsa Rafting (½ Day) Travel up the Arajuno River by canoe, where you will build a raft and then float downstream. Approximately 2 hours
